Liverpool Coat Of Arms

This is a picture of the original Liverpool coat of arms. The liver bird is about Liverpool that's why they wanted to use it as part of the city's identity. In the design the artist has put a duck instead of a liver bird and then later on realised that it was meant to be a liver bird but instead of changing it they kept it in the design.

My Idea

My first idea is to recreate the Liverpool coat of arms. I chose to recreate the Liverpool coat of arms because that is Liverpool's identity. Also when it was originally made there was duck that was used in stead of a liver bird, so they have incorporated the duck and the liver bird into the design. 

I want to re-design it in my own style. I want to design it with loads of different bright colours. Also to try and involve the most important parts of Liverpool in to the design.

To produce my idea I was going to put it in a A4 picture frame and draw or paint on to the glass and make a design on the picture frame using paper mache.
